A History Of Flooring Excellence!
Roy Lomas has provided the Philadelphia community floor covering excellence stretching back to 1956!
1956 is the year Roy Lomas began selling carpet & hardwood floors in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. In 1972, Roy moved from Philadelphia to our suburban location. At the time, the move was considered unusual in the business world, but Roy Lomas Carpets & Hardwoods proved we were simply ahead of the curve. Roy Lomas had a strong vision for his business. He knew our customers would prefer the spacious, warehouse type facility, to the rush of city traffic or hectic shopping malls. Roy Lomas wanted to provide peace of mind and comfort to customers choosing their floors.
Today Roy Lomas Carpets & Hardwoods maintains a 35,000 square foot facility, consisting of a 5,000 square foot designer showroom, a 5,000 square foot remnant room, as well as several warehouses. Homeowners, new home buyers, and homebuilders are all among the customer base of Roy Lomas Carpets & Hardwoods, and for good reason. Roy Lomas sells all major brands of residential and commercial carpet, as well as a variety of hardwood floors, laminate floors, and vinyl floors. Carpet and vinyl remnants are also featured at closeout prices. Our brands include Shaw, Beaulieu, Mohawk, Masland, Mannington, Bruce, Karastan, Dixie Home, Congoleum, Armstrong and many more. We have also joined the green movement, offering a variety of green floor options that are more environmentally friendly. These floor options include bamboo floors, and Mohawk hardwood floors that have been reclaimed from historic buildings and recycled. We also offer "green" carpet floors made from corn.
